I currently tutor online and in person in Middle School and High School History, Social Studies, English Language Arts, English as a Second Language, Sociology and various other humanities subjects. I have been teaching visual arts and art history for over 18 years. My teaching experience has been mainly in K-8. I have also taught literacy through the arts so that students improve their reading, writing, grammar, creative writing, and comprehension skills. I have written my own curriculum and projects throughout my career, always connecting my lessons to major subject areas and themes. I have a masters in elementary education and am certified in both New York City and State in Art K-12. I am able to teach all mediums and techniques in the visual arts. In addition, I have helped students move to the next level in their subject areas by tailoring my approach to their ways of learning.
