I am a certified teacher who holds a Bachelor degree in English Education K-12, as well as a Masters degree in Special Education. For the past five years, I have worked as a teacher of English, Special Education, and ACT/SAT. Additionally, as a professional tutor, I have worked with hundreds of clients of varying ages and backgrounds, ranging from teaching phonics to 4 year olds to teaching test prep to high school students to teaching ESL to adult learners.

I pride myself on my ability to work closely with my students to create customized lesson plans that best meet each individual learning style and needs. I work to assess the needs of each student and create diverse lesson plans.

I exhibit professionalism, patience, and understanding in my sessions. I work closely with my students, as well as their parents. I provide frequent and meaningful positive reinforcement, as well as constructive feedback. My sessions are structured, goal oriented, and engaging. I use multiple approaches to teach new content to my students, as I help them meet their goals and milestones.
