I believe my extensive background in education/academia suits me well to be a tutor in a wide variety of subjects. I have been involved in education in various ways for 40+ years.

I have served as an adjunct lecturer, a moderator and facilitator for on campus programs, an academic advisor, and an artistic director. I have taught subjects including English Literature, English Composition, Speech, Theatre Arts, Film Study, World of Movies, Major British Writers, and American Dream: Twentieth Century American Writers. In addition to teaching, I have worked on plays and productions at the high school level and above. Furthermore, I was a Student Government Advisor, Class Advisor, and Exchange Student Director. I have a deep passion for all things writing, English, and arts, and I am excited to share this with you!

What might you do in a typical first session with a student?

第一次会议是最不rtant. During this meeting it is essential to create a working relationship with the student. In so doing, we can create a good working environment and establish the student's goals. I would also ask the parent to join us for this assessment.
