I am a graduate of The University of the West Indies in Jamaica with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. Because of my passion for Math, I find it fun to help others understand and appreciate it as well. For most of my high school and college years, I tutored my fellow classmates in all levels of Algebra, Geometry and Calculus. I became a high school teacher at the age of 21 and has since developed a great deal of patience when shaping the minds of those who want to learn. After teaching for four years in Jamaica, I migrated to Baltimore Maryland where I continued the great work I started in Jamaica. I continued to tutor privately and saw my students who were behind by two to five grade levels moved up within days of my services. All areas of math are my favorite. Algebra is one of the fundamental topics of Math and Calculus can be applied to an array of different subjects. I believe that Math builds upon itself and without a proper foundation it is impossible to move forward. Because of this, once the student grasps a concept in one problem I have them repeat the process until they can do so easily. In my spare time I enjoy watching movies, traveling, and playing soccer and cricket.
