I am a native Californian and experienced educator. I have over twenty years of teaching experience, at all levels from Kindergarten through high school. I have taught a wide range of students, including English Language Learners, students with special needs, and gifted and talented students. I am a graduate of California State University, Northridge and Fuller Theological Seminary. I am currently a Ph.D. student at Claremont Graduate University, where I am writing a dissertation dealing with Muslim and Christian approaches to religion and science. My wife and I have successfully raised two amazing kids - now ages 19 and 26.
