What makes a good teacher or tutor? I have often wondered this since most of my career I have spent working with students in different environments. Tutor, Instructor, Teacher, Professor--I have held all these titles. To be honest, there really isn't much difference between them all. The main idea, most would think, would be to know more than the student. Is that all? Is knowing more than you enough of a qualification for you to want to learn from me? I would hope not, because there is so much more.

It's about comfort; it's about shared goals and working environments. It's about passion too. For me, there is no confusion. I have a deep passion for my culture, for my language, and for teaching. I love working with people, I love speaking to people and learning from them as well.
