我目前在西奈山Sc医科学生hool of Medicine. I completed my undergraduate degree in 2013 at Columbia University, where I majored in English and Biology. After graduation, I spent a year working at a pediatric HIV clinic in Lesotho on a Princeton in Africa fellowship, and later, I completed my Master's in Public Health at University College Dublin on a Mitchell Scholarship.

Having completed many applications in the course of my college and postgraduate degrees, I have significant experience in personal statement editing and application counseling. I am also happy to tutor for SAT critical reading and writing sections, MCAT, essay writing, and English courses. I love teaching and look forward to meeting more students!

Q & A

What is your teaching philosophy?

Understanding the why is just as important as understanding the what.

What might you do in a typical first session with a student?

Take an intake of interests, aspirations, strengths, weaknesses, and current study strategies and style, as well as logistics of when they hope to take an exam or what their schedule is like.

How would you help a student stay motivated?

I would hope to connect the work of learning to their interests.

If a student has difficulty learning a skill or concept, what would you do?

I would ask them why they think they are having difficulty, what they do to address the difficulty, and try to figure out a new method of approaching the situation.
