I am a graduate of the State University of New York. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and my Master of Arts in Social Studies Education. I have been passionate about education my entire life and I have experience as a classroom teacher for more than thirty years. I have traveled and studied extensively throughout much of the world, including Europe, Africa, South American and the Middle East; I enjoy visiting important cultural and historical sites of the world. Throughout my career, I have taught and tutoring a variety of subjects including World History, US History, Philosophy, Economics, Sociology, and Geography. Over the years I have prepared many students for success in the New York State Regents exams and have become very knowledgeable about test creation and preparation.

I have worked one on one with students in a program in New York State entitled Academic Intervention Services and tutored a variety of subjects. I have dedicated my entire adult life to the education of others and truly believe it is the key to the betterment of society. Although my teaching may be rigorous, I like to have create lessons that my students have a fun time doing while making academic progress as the same time.
