I am a graduate of The University of Alabama at Birmingham. I received my Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. After graduation I began teaching at the high school level and working on my graduate degree. I received my Masters in Secondary Mathematics Education from the same university. Since graduation, I have taught and tutored a variety of mathematics courses from all levels. Middle and high school courses ranging from Pre-Algebra to AP Calculus and AP Statistics. At the university level I have taught and or tutored mathematics courses up through 400 level mathematics and graduate level statistics courses for non-science majors.

While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Algebra II/Trigonometry and Pre-Calculus. Calculus would probably be my most favorite subject. In my experience helping students prepare for their math courses is a joy and a chance to help students achieve their future goals. In my spare time, I enjoy reading and learning on my own. I recently earned another master's degree in theological studies. Watching baseball and college football is also a fun time!
