I have a varied background, with degrees in Psychology and Fine Art, and with experience as an IT professional, consultant, and as a life-long martial artist and martial arts instructor (for ages pre-K to 80). The common thread in my work has been building human relationships. I love to teach, mentor and uplift. My greatest strength is my ability to empathize and understand where someone is coming from, how they learn, and what they need. I apply this in tutoring to create an effective and rewarding experience for my students. The greatest compliment anyone can receive is "I HEAR you." - This is my aim as a teacher.
