I am a 30 yr old MD.
-Clements High School (top 2% ranking, 35 out of 37 ACT), received a Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology from the University of Texas with (3.9 GPA; participated in neuroscience research involving mechanisms of alcohol) and a MD from Baylor College of Medicine offering tutoring services. I specialize in tutoring middle, high school, and college-level students in biology and biology-related sciences, as well as first and second-year medical students in any aspect of their curriculum.
-My services range from simple subject tutoring to 1-1 long term advising with your goals for a test, for college application, medical school application or residency application. Be open with your goals: ask me about the services I can offer and qualifications; you will not be disappointed. All resources I recommend are included!
-I have a special interest in assessing whether the pre-medical field is the correct one for your child, and to set realistic long term goals and expectations for my clients.
-My other special interest is in aiding international medical students with Step 1, 2, all medical School Subjects and long-term residency goals.
-Don't settle for a medical school/DO school you don't want. Don't settle for a residency that is not ideal for you. if addressed early enough, there's always a was to achieve your goals! Have me on your side!
-At most times I have 3 students in the pre-undergraduate phase, 3 students in the pre-medical phase, and 3 IMG students in the medical school/residency application phase. I only expect my clients and students to be motivated, focused, and open and honest about their or their child's goals and needs! Look forward to working with you.
-I worked as a Physiology teacher at my medical school where I taught a small group of medical students in Physiology for one year. I really enjoyed teaching students and helping explain concepts and simplify them so that anyone can understand them as it helps make the subject more fun and enjoyable. My approach to tutoring is to explain things on the most basic level possible and work our way up in order to grasp the full picture and be able to explain it to anyone of any level as I believe this is the best way to learn. It is really rewarding for me to see others understand topics and feel confident that they know it clearly and can then teach it to someone else in the future and I am excited to teach as many students as possible.
Best,
-D
