我收到了education at University of Portland. I obtained a B.S. in Biochemistry, with a minor in Biology in Spring of 2015. I am currently enrolled in a program to obtain my masters in secondary education to become a high school chemistry teacher.

The subjects that I am well versed in include Biology, Microbiology, Marine Biology, Physiology, General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Newtonian Physics. These are all subjects I had to learn for my undergraduate degree. I am more than happy to assist in the learning of any of these materials.

Then I consolidate and organize thoughts on paper to make a lesson plan of how to move forward. Depending on how long each lesson takes there may be some adjustments to the schedule. I'm very supportive in my technique and encourage self discovery rather than bluntly giving students the information. Through the process of working for the information and uncovering it themselves, one learns better.

Outside of tutoring I am a very active person. I enjoy hiking, running, rock climbing, fishing, golfing, and many more activities. Some of the more relaxed activities I participate in are drawing, reading, watching movies, listen to jazz, and cooking. My favorite author to read is Kurt Vonnegut. My favorite movie is Memento, directed by Christopher Nolan. And my favorite jazz album to listen to is "The Roar of 74" by Buddy Rich.

I think I am a very personable tutor that is willing to sit and listen as much as I am there to teach. I want the people I am working with to feel like they understand the material and be confident in the subject they are learning.
