I graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. For the past two and a half years I have worked as an engineer for an exploration and production company in the oil industry. I will be returning to school this fall to pursue a Masters in Business Administration at New York University and saw an opportunity to work in something that I have always been passionate about: teaching. My first teaching experience came at age nine when I began instructing other students in Tae Kwon Do. I got a thrill out of passing my knowledge to other students and helping them become better practitioners. Throughout high school and college I tutored friends and classmates in various subjects, but mostly math and science. I enjoy tremendously the moment when a subject or concept finally "clicks" for a student. In my spare time I enjoy playing and listening to music and learning about new and interesting things.
