I recently graduated from Wright State University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. I am currently a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Texas at Austin in Mechanical Engineering. My research is based in additive manufacturing (3D Printing), and I plan to return to the private sector after graduation and focus in this area. Also, throughout my undergraduate studies I was a manufacturing engineer for NuVasive, where I worked on developing machining processes for spinal correction implants. This is extremely rewarding as these parts help improve peoples lives by eliminating back pain! I also tutored at Wright State University in all mechanical engineering subjects as well as Calculus 1-3 and physics. I find tutoring extremely enjoyable as I try to keep a laid back atmosphere while diving into these difficult subjects. I love relating these ideas to the real world to help visualize the concepts at hand. I believe any student can reach any goals he or she might set by the right work ethic, attitude, and guidance!
