Hello! I am Alex. I was born and raised in New Jersey. I earned my B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Education at the University of Miami in December 2014. I am currently earning my Master of Social Work degree at the University of Maryland Baltimore. I have tutored students since I was 16, specifically students with autism during my undergraduate career. I was a Primary school English teacher for two years in South Africa when I served as a Peace Corps Volunteer. I enjoy tutoring math, English, and psychology. When I tutor, I like to create specialized lesson plans for my students in order to maximize their time and learning experience.
I love to travel, run, read, cook, and spend time with friends and family. I'm an outgoing individual that loves to laugh so my sessions will never be too serious! I try to make learning fun for the student and I. So hire me and let's learn, ace your classes, and have fun!
