I am here to help. I consider myself a learning specialist. I have been teaching learners of all ages, and on various levels for more than two decades. Tutoring is my passion because I enjoy sharing and discovering knowledge while giving learners undivided attention which can be difficult to obtain within the K-12 school setting, and or in the college classroom. I can provide academic support to strengthen skillsets within the desired subject area. I also have experience assisting students to prepare for success in the K-12 settings, and on required assessments and exams (NYS Regents in ELA, NYS ELA exams grades 3 - 8, SAT, ACT, GED and more). My philosophy is supported by my enduring mission which is to implement activities that will help construct skillsets and provide additional opportunities for learners to be successful and prepared for academic growth and enrichment in the subject area of their choice. I am motivated by enthusiasm and long term dedication which is geared to help young learners, and adult learners achieve their individualized goals during their purposeful journeys. I am committed to academic success in all subject areas. When learners are successful, the instructor is successful. Success is my favorite word, and as a person who has acquired multiple degrees and is working to complete my fourth degree, I am prepared to advance all learners who offer me the opportunity to assist as they move forward on their purposeful journey which is to reach their stated academic goals.
