I have completed my fourth year as a 7th/8th grade math teacher and before that taught 6th/7th grade math for 8 years. I tutor students from 3rd-11th grade in math and love working one on one with students of varying abilities.

I earned my Bachelors of Arts in Economics at the University of Illinois in Champaign. I earned my Masters in Education at North Park University.

My teaching philosophy centers on a student centered approach and I have offered my students a fully self-paced math curriculum for the last 10 years. My tutoring style is laid back, allowing the students to show me what they know already and then to help them address any weaknesses to build their math knowledge.
