What is your teaching philosophy?

My teaching philosophy focuses on breaking things down so that they are simple and easy to understand so that my students can be as successful as possible.

If a student has difficulty learning a skill or concept, what would you do?

I would break down that skill or concept to smaller concepts, and work our way up to understanding the entire skill or concept.

What strategies have you found to be most successful when you start to work with a student?

Building rapport and trust with the student is important. Spend a few minutes getting to know the student and what some of their interests include.

How would you help a student get excited/engaged with a subject that they are struggling in?

问他们一个不喜欢这个话题d talk about how we can make it more exciting. By helping them better understand the subject, they become more confident, and will become more engaged and excited.

How do you build a student's confidence in a subject?

Positive reinforcement and guidance!
