I received my M.A. from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois and my B.A. from the University of San Francisco. My scholarly interest tends towards European and American History, specifically the construction of gender through the lens of consumerism and nationalism. As far as tutoring I have lectured and taught throughout the course of my graduate studies on top of my experience working with first-generation college students through TRiO Student Support Services and the McNair Scholars Program, federal education opportunity outreach initiatives.

My tutoring focus ranges from working with students to address educational gaps in structuring papers and arguments to assisting them with articles that are up for publication through various undergraduate journals. I love to study and tutor the areas of history, literature, and any field that deploys the use of critical analysis. I have noticed that students generally prefer to learn through a holistic approach that works to address not only their comprehension, but also their interest.

I’m a huge fan of a good book, some good coffee, and traveling.
