I am a certified History teacher; I have 20 years experience in the classroom and have had experience with gifted children and children with learning differences. I teach AP History/Dual Credit US History and IB History. My experience in the classroom has given me the ability to assess a student and give instruction in such a way that benefits that student the most. I have a Bachelor's degree in History with a minor in Political Science. I also hold a Master's degree in History with an emphasis on US History.

I am a patient teacher that can explain a subject many different ways until I reach my student. I try to explain history in such a way that it becomes a story for my student. I want them to be able to understand the "whys" of history and not just memorize the details. I have extensive experience helping student prepare for the AP exams and SAT Subject Test and have a variety of strategies to help him or her improve her grade.
