I recently graduated from Rice University. I received my BA with a major in political science and a minor in sociology.
My tutoring style is one in which I keep the student engaged in the material. This is especially important in my subject areas, as social sciences and the humanities are about understanding and analyzing events and cultures rather than merely memorizing facts. Thus, I try to structure my tutoring sessions in a way that there is collaboration and genuine discovery, rather than me lecturing the student.
My interests include playing ping pong, watching soccer, and traveling.
