"My step-son had difficulty getting time from his professor and the teaching assistant for working through the problems and the challenging math of the homework and the material that was scheduled for the quizzes in this class. Lots of students needed their help. The professor recommended a couple of former students who might be available to act as a tutor, but they did not return my step-son's email or phone calls. After a brief phone conversation, the very helpful representative was able to take my step-son's information and launch a search for an Engineering Mechanics tutor. Early the following week, they had found a recently graduated engineer (Casey) who worked with my step-son for the remaining seven weeks of the term and provided invaluable assistance in helping him build experience with recognizing the different types of problems, setting them up, recognizing the required information elements to solve the problems, and building his confidence in his ability to solve the problems.
