I am a graduate of Furman University with a degree in Fine Art. I also hold a Masters of Science in Art Therapy from Eastern Virginia Medical School. I have worked as a professional artist for over twenty years, selling my work around the Southeastern United States. I have been a high school art teacher for the past 5 years in both South Carolina and Georgia. I am incredibly passionate about teaching art. I believe that all people can create art if you only have the proper tools, a good attitude, and the willingness to try new things. I will provide you with the tools; You just need to come with the right attitude. When I am not drawing or painting, I love reading, yoga, playing the ukulele, and spending time with my dog, Marty.
