I am a life-long astrophysics, mathematics and physics fanatic; I received my masters in astrophysics from Harvard and my bachelors in physics and astronomy from the University of Washington. I first started tutoring in exchange for coffee when I entered university at 16, but kept it up and turned it into a full fleet of wonderful learners. I am on my way to a PhD in astrophysics but have taken some time off to tutor full-time. I adore tutoring all sorts of STEM fields as it is rarely about the topic for me but about learning how to best teach each individual. Let's find the ways that you learn best (and if we do it right find your spark for learning). I will never give you an equation without helping you build the intuition of how to build it again. But the more fun we have while learning, the more likely you are to remember and enjoy what you learn so we're going to have lots of fun too. In my spare time, you're likely to catch me bouldering, finding obscure science or craft YouTube videos, swimming a triathlon, practicing Thai or playing *so so* many board games.

My hobbies include taking my cat “Fitz” on hikes, overfilling my apartment with plants by ‘mistake’, finishing triathlons just before cutoff time, playing *all the board games*, swimming in open water with limited vision, learning Thai in Thailand, collecting wonderful friends, playing Minecraft OneBlock, and slowly improving my climbing so I can safely climb trees like a kid again.
