Certified Tutor
My primary focus has been on adult education including: high school equivalency/GED, the ACT, and college/vocational programs. I have also helped many educators with preparation for the Praxis Exams, including the core subjects of reading, writing, and math, as well as the Praxis II or subject matter exams for Special Education, History, and Social Studies.
Additionally, I taught at an alternative center for grades 6-12. This role required me to teach many subjects including: English, Math, Social Studies, Art, Theater, Psychology, Sociology, Human Growth and Development and many others.
My undergraduate degree is in Psychology and plan on receiving my Master's Degree in Sociology within the next two years. I am certified to teach: Psychology grades 6-12, English grades 6-12, Social Studies Grades 6-12, and Special Education grades k-12 in the State of Mississippi. I have also taken additional trainings in mental health. I continue to take additional trainings and research to stay abreast of topics relevant to education.

I am a digital nomad. I love to travel as a way of life. I also enjoy sharing with my students my random knowledge of odd and interesting things that I've learned in my travels. I paint, draw, journal, doodle, and engage in creative writing. In my down time I can also be found listening to podcasts, scrolling through Instagram, and binge watching the latest show on Netflix.
