我在多伦多大学的一个学生,终结hing an Honours Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Geographical Information Systems with a minor in Business. I have also completed a Professional Certificate in Data Science from Harvard University. My experience teaching extends widely. From doing one-on-one mathematics tutoring for elementary students in charming Newfoundland to teaching large classes of students of all ages how to ski in beautiful Alberta. I'm also proud of having been part of the teaching team for Stanford Universities Code in Place program, where I was trained by the professors at Stanford on being able to successfully and effectively teach an online programming course during the COVID-19 pandemic. I love the problem-solving that comes with mathematics and computer science/programming, and I especially love sharing that passion with my students. Often times when it comes to math, students feel like they're not good enough, so I strive to create a safe environment where everyone feels comfortable making mistakes. Those mistakes are wonderful opportunities for us to learn! In my spare time, I enjoy programming, cross-country skiing, and the beautiful game of football/soccer (Hala Madrid!).
