I am a Grad Student studying to become a middle school Earth Science teacher in Richmond, Virginia. I graduated from Whitman College in 2016 and relocated to Richmond in 2018 to work in a print shop. I've loved being an artist, but I've always wanted to teach Special Ed and Earth Science. I am currently pursuing a masters in teaching to be placed in Title 1 schools and plan to pursue a dual certification in Special Ed.
I think science is the coolest but it is also very tough, I experienced plenty of my own academic struggles in my journey towards becoming a science teacher. I am thrilled to work with any student towards making science more approachable.
