Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of The University of British Columbia. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in education in 2021. Since I started my studies in Canada in 2017, I have extensively been involved in supporting the personal and academic development of youth. I have held various portfolios such as being a tutor for kids with learning disabilities, a mentor for students interested in applying to universities as well as a Crisis responder at Kids Help Phone. While I can tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about college application essays. Having been a recipient of multiple awards as well as in the selection committee, I believe that I have a strong understanding of what the admissions committee is looking for, which I try to impart to all my students. I am a firm proponent of education, believing it to be necessary for an improved quality of life, and therefore want to support students in their academic journey.
