With over 3 years of teaching experience in both English and Social Studies, I can safely say I do this out of joy not obligation. I hold a B.A. in Political Science and History from The American University in Cairo. At university, I did a lot of volunteer work with the refugee community in Cairo by teaching them English as a Second Language (ESL). After graduating, I pursued a career as an English and Social Studies teacher at an international school.
Given my humanities background, I love teaching languages and history to young minds because I feel they are so crucial to the human experience. My classes are meant to be engaging and goal oriented, depending on what my students need. I can't wait for us to have fun learning together!
