Certified Tutor

I'm a Sophomore at the University of Toronto, pursuing a double major in Economics and Public Policy. In High School, I tutored children at an NGO as well as domestic workers and marginalized women in India through an organization called 'Parichiti'. Since then, I developed a passion for teaching after seeing the difference a good tutor can make to people's lives. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Economics, Mathematics, and Statistics. I also help students prepare for standardized tests such as IELTS and the English and Math component of the ACT. I have had teachers who have changed my perception of life and made me love certain subjects. My tutoring philosophy is to make every session as interactive and relatable as possible. I believe if students can engage with the material and relate to it on a personal level, learning becomes more enjoyable.
