Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of the State University College at Buffalo, N.Y., with a Master's degree in Education. My specialty lies in the area of learning disabilities. I have worked for the past 18 years as a special education teacher and interventionist at an elementary school in Durango, Colorado.

I have extensive training in the areas of reading, math and written expression instruction. I use a multi-sensory approach when teaching in these three academic areas. My Minds on Math and Orton-Gillingham trainings have provided me with the necessary skills to teach effectively.
