Everyone comes into the field of education for a reason. For me I have been fueled by my desire to help students to overcome challenges that they face both academically as well as behaviorally in school. I have worked with adjudicated students at a wilderness camp, taught in public schools with students who have IEP's for emotional/behavioral difficulties, supported teachers through various special education needs, and have taught subjects such as reading, writing, social skills, history, and math. Needless to say, I have been driven to help others because I enjoy the challenge, building relationships, and helping to bridge the gap in learning difficulties.

It's hard to say whether I like animals or nature better! I love the changes that each season brings each year! I love music and attempt to learn how to play instruments such as violin, cello, and piano (I'm still learning!). I'm fairly artistic and love to paint, watercolor, wood burn, draw, and craft! You'll also often find me making something tasty for my family in the kitchen!
