Certified Tutor

I am a trained and certified teacher. Currently, I am working as a substitute teacher. I have a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Education through the University of Lethbridge. While I love teaching all subjects, my specialty is English and Language Arts because I have a passion for literacy in all capacities. This includes teaching reading, writing, and comprehension skills.
To me, a teacher should have a passion for learning. I have a love of inspiring others to reach their potential. I like to see the best in people. With the proper guidance and a good instruction, a student can achieve greatness. Helping students become their best self is a job I feel a teacher or tutor should feel responsible for. My goal is to help students achieve their goals and feel pride in their work.
I love reading and consider myself a huge book worm. I am also a huge fan of art and art history and took some time studying it while in university. I love to sew, paint, cook, and do basically anything that lets me use creativity and imagination.
