Greetings! I am an experienced senior financial and defense intelligence executive that loves to help people and businesses achieve their desired improvements. I am a graduate of Portland State University. I received a Bachelor of Science with honors in Finance and Law. I also received a certificate in Black Studies with honors. I have a graduate degree from the Stonier Graduate School of Banking as well. I started a financial consulting business while in college then sold it a few years out of college. I became a US Marine. Over the next 15 years combined, I worked for two top 5 US Banks and one top 5 US Defense contractor before moving back into independent consulting in 2016. I have traveled, worked, and lived across the US, Europe, Central and South America, and some of the Middle East (while in the military). Either professionally or as a personal interest I have tutored, mentored, and coached young and experienced adults in select academic topics, select professional exam pre test materials, soft skills, technical skill building, performance improvement, decision making, financial literacy, and leadership. While I can tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about finance, FINRA exams, decision making, financial literacy, and leadership. I am a firm proponent of higher education as well as career connected training, believing each one respectively is necessary for an improved quality of life depending on the personality of the student. I try to impart this perspective with students or working professionals as it tends to really boost confidence, progress, and choice for the individual. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, studying Scripture, being active with my kids, exercising, and traveling.
