Certified Tutor
本人毕业于天主教神学的联盟在Chicago with a D.Min. in Practical Theology/Cross-Cultural. I also obtained a Masters of Arts in Higher Education Administration from Geneva College in Pennsylvania and a Masters of Arts in Applied Theology from Wheeling Jesuit University in West Virginia. My teaching certification is in the area of Social Studies, 7-12th, and was obtained at California University of Pennsylvania. I have worked in education for over 30 years on the secondary level and more recently within higher education. My background includes working in various areas of student development on the collegiate level, serving as an adjunct faculty member, coaching various club and varsity sports such as rugby, lacrosse, and track. Through my work I have been able to travel to Australia, Peru, Turkey, Canada, and El Salvador, and had the opportunity to tour Europe during my college years as a member of the college choir. I participated in both choral and instrumental programs throughout my high school and college careers and have sung in Chorus Austin more recently. I am passionate about history, anthropology, human migration, religion, and theology. I love to explore the intersections of the various social sciences. My hope is to help students develop their critical thinking abilities and learn how to ask questions that will enhance their learning. As a tutor, I have work in history and am also very comfortable in various religious areas. My last posting centered in interfaith and worldview diversity areas. In my personal time I love to read, still play rugby occasionally, and dance salsa, swing, country, and tango whenever I can.
