我收到了我的本科教育在圣奥拉夫College in Northfield Minnesota. I graduated with a degree in biology, and I will be attending medical school in the fall. I have a varied tutoring history, helping students from the 3rd grade all the way to collegiate level courses. I have tutored Math/ELA for elementary school students, and have tutored Introductory Chemistry (Semesters 1 + 2), Organic Chemistry (Semesters 1 + 2), Introductory Physics (Kinematics + Electromagnetism), and Biochemistry. My favorite subject to tutor is biochemistry - it is the subject I most enjoyed in school and what spurred me to pursue a career in medicine.
My teaching philosophy can be summed up with two quotes: "work smarter not harder" and "practice makes perfect." I believe that practice is important, but efficient learning is critical for practice to pay off.
Outside of academia, I love the outdoors, playing the cello and piano, and drawing/painting.
