Hello there! Hope you are doing well today. My name is Agnes and I am a recent graduate of the University of Miami. I have experience tutoring for an award winning company and for Varsity Tutors since last November. Successful tutoring involves two essential elements: an engaging, tutor who is effective at communicating concepts, and a committed, involved student who wants to learn. Frequently, I hear from parents that their student enjoyed the session with me. I believe this is because I do my best to make my sessions interactive, engaging and educational. I am proud to say that I have received positive feedback from parents thanking me for taking the time to help their student reach new heights in their academics.
Most notably, a student I met with twice a week got his first A in his eighth grade Algebra class. Another one of my previous students got into her into her dream school-National Cathedral with the test taking strategy I provided. I absolutely love sharing the tools I have learned in my educational journey with others and seeing them flourish. Varsity Tutors gives me the ability to do just that!
My track record includes: high school students for the SAT, 4th graders for the Cogat, SSAT, and ISEE, 8th graders for school subjects like algebra and the ISEE and SSAT.
