My desire to help students achieve academic goals stems from my own experience taking the SAT. When I first took the SAT, after some practice, I scored a 1330/1600 or a 1820/2400. Although these were not bad scores, I knew I could do better and after hours of self-teaching I increased my scores to 1550/1600 and 2250/2400.
Supposedly, the SAT is meant to be a pseudo-IQ test, but I don't think that's true. I believe with the right strategies and hard work, SAT scores can be significantly improved.
A little background about me: I recently graduated Babson College with a degree in Finance, Summa Cum Laude. In October I will begin my full-time job as a data analytics consultant in NYC helping big banks with their data. Until I begin working, I hope to help students achieve their academic goals. Academic success has helped me achieve my career goals, and I would like to help other students too!
