Certified Tutor

我现在在圣路易斯大学四年级and am studying to receive my Bachelors in Science in Biology and my minor in Public Health. During my college experience, I have been able to spend a lot of time volunteering and tutoring. I work as a tutor at the university for subjects in biology, chemistry and spanish. While I tutor in university level subjects, I also volunteer as an after school tutor for refugee students in STL, through Firm Foundations tutoring, so I work with younger students as well. I have always enjoyed tutoring since my high school years as I believe in the importance of spreading knowledge and giving everyone the help they deserve so they can all equally excel. As a biology major, I would have to say it is my favorite subject, however I enjoy spanish and statistics as well. I am looking forward to ACT tutoring as I am quite familiar with the exam and am experienced on ways to significantly improve test scores. Outside of the tough pre-med life, I enjoy sports such as softball, swimming and tennis. I am quite passionate about learning about other cultures. My sophomore year, I was able to study abroad in Spain and immerse myself in the Spanish culture. I have also learned a lot about Mexican and Latin American cultures through classes and have my own Indian culture I enjoy!
