Eric
Certified Tutor
I attended St. George's University School of Veterinary medicine. While matriculating there, I led a large study group and tutored students on a one on one basis. I found the experience so rewarding that it served as an impetus for me to continue teaching. I received a B.S. Biological Sciences for the University of Rhode Island. Afterwards, I worked at the Department of Infectious Disease at Tufts University doing research on zoonotic parasites. My primary areas of interest are Biology and Physiology. I am currently also getting my teaching certification in both subjects here in Massachusetts.
My primary objective as a tutor is to help students make sense of difficult material. I truly believe that every student has the ability to thrive if the subject matter in presented in the right way.
In my spare time, I enjoy staying active whether it be playing tennis or just going for a jog. My true passion is ecotourism. If it has great scuba diving and rainforests, then it's probably on my bucket list.
