I recently graduated from Williams College (the #1 College in America) with a degree in Biology and Maritime Studies. I am qualified to tutor in many areas including the math and sciences, English, and test preparation (ranging from elementary level through the SATs/ACTs). I have tutored for my entire life and would love to help your student with whatever they may need. What is your teaching philosophy?
I am extremely patient, and my tutoring style changes depending on the student. I focus on the student's likes and try to make them understand the subject by explaining things in a way that interests them!
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
I try to get to know a student on a personal level and work towards developing a trusting relationship!
