He is a pioneer in the field of multicultural marketing and brings with him a wealth of experience, expertise and education, all of which make him uniquely qualified for the role of Vice President of Marketing Strategy at Aon Affinity.

Roberto has 25 years of experience in: classical marketing, multicultural marketing, international marketing and financial management. Prior to coming to Affinity, he worked for several Fortune 100 companies where he helped develop sustainable marketing solutions and learned how to convert customers into advocates.

From 2006 to 2010, Roberto worked with global biopharmaceutical company AstraZenca, where as the Senior Director of Global Marketing for their Cardiovascular Division served to lead the creation of a multibillion-dollar diabetes line (dapagliflozin & saxagliptin) leading Operational Planning activities and the brand Marketing Strategy.

The process of learning is rooted on two factors: familiarity and repetition. Effective teaching is predicated on making the process interesting and worthwhile to the individual.

What might you do in a typical first session with a student?

Understand the student's motivation to learn a specific subject matter. Learn more about their background, what they know, and what they want to get out of the sessions.

How can you help a student become an independent learner?

Developing their inner curiosity. That will stimulate their personal drive to understand.

How would you help a student stay motivated?

Remind them of the reason they set out to learn and inculcate the benefits of achieving said goal.

If a student has difficulty learning a skill or concept, what would you do?

Understand what causes the difficulty and explain in a different manner.

Practice, practice, ..elucidate, practice, practice.

Generating interest in learning the subject matter.
