Certified Tutor
I graduated from Fort Lewis College in southwestern Colorado with a double major in Geology and Mathematics. After graduating I worked for the Colorado Geological Survey before moving on to pursue my PhD in Geosciences at Virginia Tech. I enjoy teaching science and mathematics and showing how these subjects profoundly influence people's everyday lives. Students that I work with usually show immediate improvement in their subject areas. My students will have to work hard to master their material, but I like to be entertaining and keep it fun when tutoring. We will both have a lot of laughs and a good time as we work to meet your goals!
When I'm not tutoring, you will usually find me outside hiking or biking. You may even find me experimenting in the kitchen.
