Certified Tutor
A recent graduate of Occidental College with a degree in Diplomacy and World Affairs (read: International Relations), my personality blends southern California's easy-going attitude with D.C.'s high levels of intensity and motivation. I am delighted to be back home in the D.C. area after four amazing years studying in Los Angeles, a college career which was punctuated by two professional experiences: a semester-long job back in the D.C. area working on a presidential campaign and a semester-long stint as an eight grade math and English tutor in a L.A. school. These job experiences, along with my time at Occidental, have imbued in me a passion for working towards improving the quality of and students' interest in education. I am particularly passionate about doing this by tutoring in history, writing, literature and Spanish. In my free time here in D.C. I enjoy taking advantage of our area's natural beauty, watching our local sports teams, reading fiction and keeping up with the news, and spending time with my two dogs, Allie and Misty.
