Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of The University of California at Davis. I received my Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science with a focus on modern European History. I also received a Masters of Arts from Webster University in International Relations. Since graduation, I have traveled extensively throughout Japan, Korea and parts of the Middle East. I have experienced numerous cultures, in my travels, and love learning about them. I am very passionate about History, geography and world affairs and I love reading about the subjects which helps to keep me up to date in them. In tutoring history I believe that it is best to tell history as a story. To let the student know that the people in history were real people and at times they had to make difficult decisions. I truly believe that education and knowledge is the key to success in this world. In my spare time, I enjoy writing, working out, gardening, computer programming-with python and of course reading. Reading, to me, is where one's mind expands and becomes more open.
