Certified Tutor

I am a recent graduate from Auburn University. I received my B. S. in Physics with minors in Mathematics and Spanish. I am currently taking some time off before applying for graduate Physics programs. I have tutored Physics and Calculus for the past four years both independently and with tutoring services. My favorite subject to tutor is Calculus 1, because it can be so intuitive when explained well. When tutoring, I find it most effective to have the student work on the problems and help them through roadblocks rather than lecture at them. In my free time, I play the piano/keyboard in a few local bands, and enjoy hiking and other outdoor activities.
