Certified Tutor

I am a 2013 graduate of the Schreyer Honors College at the Pennsylvania State University. I double majored in Classics & Ancient Mediterranean Studies and History with honors, and I received minor degrees in German and Global Studies. Since graduation, I have worked at a historical museum, travelled throughout California and Oregon as the guitarist of a surf band, and have been working at Bloomberg as a Financial Analyst at their Skillman, NJ campus. I tutored students throughout college and high school, working with elementary-secondary students, students with learning disabilities, and ESL adult learners. While I have tutored a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about History, German, and English. I am a strong advocate of education, both in and out of the classroom, and believe it to be an integral component to success. I am driven to motivate my students to exceed their educational goals, help them to realize their academic potential, and inspire them to embrace learning as a fun, lifelong pursuit. In my spare time, I enjoy writing and playing music (I am a self-taught musician of over a dozen instruments), playing sports, cooking, biking, and travelling.
