I am a graduate of the University of Colorado (two Bachelors of Sciences in biology and physics), as well as the University of Northern Colorado (Masters of Science in biology with an emphasis on chemical research). Since graduation, I have worked in a few different fields, but tutoring is something I greatly enjoy doing. I tutor a broad range of subjects, including biology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics, and am one of the most requested tutors at Front Range Community College. I try to approach most subjects using the student's interests to engage and teach, with as many real-world examples as possible, and as much humor as possible (laughter helps with memory).
I enjoy sewing, crafting, and knitting in my free time, and am an avid costume-maker. I have won several awards for my costumes, and like to travel to display them and chat with fellow costume geeks.
