Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Florida International University (FIU). I received my Bachelor of Science in Accounting . My tutoring experience comes from answering a call from my accounting professor who wondered if I wanted to tutor some fellow students in financial accounting. After tutoring these students, it turned out that they were both student athletes, they referred me to the Department of Athletics and shortly after I was hired by them to tutor other student Athletes at FIU. I always enjoyed the interaction with fellow students and seeing them get that "A-HA" moment when they understand the material. I tutor Accounting and Finance and my favorite subject is Accounting because of the structure, order, and value it provides to an organization. My tutoring style is a modeling approach. If the student doesn't understand the subject matter in the way I am presenting it, I will try different approaches until I find the best one for the student. In my free time I enjoy reading, taking nature walks , and exercising .
