Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Western Michigan University, where I majored in Elementary Education. After I graduated, I moved out to Arizona for a teaching job. I taught in the classroom for five years. I have taught one year of fifth grade Math, two years of third grade, and two years of second grade. Aside from my classroom teaching, I have several years of experience tutoring children of all ages in Reading and Math. Although I have many years experience in teaching and tutoring all subjects, Math is my favorite subject to teach. I truly enjoy helping students feel successful in school and fulfilling their love of learning. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, reading, and spending time with my friends.
